Biography & Background
I began developing a familiarity with Colorado’s real estate market at a young age. I was born a Colorado native and grew up in the Eastern Plains region of the state. I built a basic understanding and foundation of how to run a business through my family’s involvement in the farming and land industry. After graduating from high school, I decided to begin my career immediately by investing in real estate and starting my own property management company.
In the year 2000, I obtained my real estate license and began working at Keller Williams DTC, a real estate agency based in Centennial, Colorado. I advanced quickly in my position and within 18 months became a top producer in the company. I became part of the company’s Agent Advisory Council, during which time I successfully wrote and implemented the first technology training modules offered by the DTC office and also served as the technology liaison.
Four years later, I decided to take up a new endeavor in my career and resigned from my role at the DTC office. I began work in a new position and started managing my first brokerage office at a Metro Brokers franchise agency. In addition to this, I also began overseeing a property management firm called Highlands Properties.
After five years of running the Metro Brokers agency, I decided to scale back my work so I could start my own company. I wanted to step away from managing larger firms and instead focus again on my passion, which is working with clients directly and selling real estate. In 2010, I founded Lincoln Real Estate Group.

My professional background and extensive experience working in the real estate arena has given me the insight to determine what works effectively for homeowners and how those tools can be implemented with the highest degree of effectiveness. I am well versed in the real estate market across all parts of the Denver metro area, the Front Range, and Eastern Colorado. My professional skills and qualifications include:

Understanding Buying in Today’s Real Estate Market
Colorado’s current real estate market is highly complex. It’s important to understand that the market right now is extremely competitive, especially for Buyers trying to purchase a home under $350,000. In the current market, it’s not uncommon for several attempts to have to be made in order to win a contract in addition to some serious negotiating.
I understand that every home and Seller is unique and therefore approach each situation differently. I will have a separate strategy for each home you want to try and win and will develop a plan based on how aggressive you would like to be for each individual contract. Depending on the property, I may recommend “extra” negotiating tricks (depending on your comfort level) or items to be put into the contract which include but are not limited to:
● Escalation clauses
● Appraisal gap clause – partial removal of appraisal contingency
● A letter to the homeowner from you stating why you love and want the property
Understanding Selling in Today’s Real Estate Market
Today’s Buyer is very sophisticated. Always online and doing their own research, the Buyers that tour your home will have a very good idea of its market value before even walking in the door. Due to the fact it is taking several attempts over possibly several months to secure a contract, they also know your neighborhood and probably have seen your neighbor’s house and all comparable homes in your price point. Because of this, pricing is critical and must be spot on. A Buyer may elect on their own to offer you above purchase price but a home that starts overpriced will just sit on the market.
Working with a lot of Buyers gives me special insight into the mind of a Buyer that can be very useful when getting ready to sell. I will work with you to make sure you present your home in the best light within your budget and come up with a Listing Strategy that will get you the highest possible price in the quickest amount of time!
